Today let’s create some fun interactive Tim Holtz Shaker Tags! We will be using some brand new products from the Tim Holtz Collection including the Sizzix Thinlits Framed Tags and the Sizzix Thinlits Bold Text, Christmas Dies. I absolutely love these bold text dies…they are great for your cards, journals, and tags! We will also incorporate some beautiful 3D Impresslits into our tags including the Holly Berries, Snowflakes and Poinsettia. These 3D Impresslits die cut and emboss your image at the same time!

We will start off by inking up our tags using the brand new Tim Holtz Holiday Mica Sprays in Fresh Balsam, Tart Cranberry and Winter Frost! These will look great combined with some TH Distress Oxide Sprays. I’ll show you a few different ways to combine these products together for a beautiful background!

For some added interest we will be turning these tags into shakers by adding a bit of TH Rock Candy Glitter!

Hot Foiling and Resist Stenciling – Elegant Fall Card

Let’s create an elegant Fall card with stenciling, embossing and foiling! This card will have lots and lots of beautiful layers which will add so much interest to our card!

We will die cut a Hero Arts Infinity Heart Die and then we will stencil it with the Echo Park Designer Stencil from the Fall Fever Collection and this one is called Leaf Pile.

To begin the stenciling, we will use a variety of Distress Oxide Inks in some pretty Fall colors. And then….for a bit of added interest and dimension we will lay the stencil back down over the colored leaves and ink it up with some clear embossing ink and then add clear embossing powder. Now we can add some ink around the edges of the heart and the embossed area will resist the ink. Next we can spatter the entire heart and add some metallic pearls!

For one of the background layers and the sentiment, we will add some gold foiling using the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Machine and some Glimmer Plates. I’ll give you some tips and tricks for doing some easy foiling!

The card and layers are from the Welcome Fall – Carta Bella Coordinating Solids Paper Pack. Next we can quickly layer up the card on a top folding card base from some Kraft cardstock.

This card was created as a Congratulations card but could certainly be easily adapted to become a Thanksgiving or Fall card!

I’m really thrilled to be showing you a brand new stamp set from Art Impressions in conjunction with Simon Says Stamp! This EXCLUSIVE LIMITED EDITION stamp set is called “Fab-yule-ous Friends” and includes three of the most adorable ladies all decked out for the holidays and loads of great coordinating sentiments! This set will only be available for a limited time…so if you love it don’t hesitate…get yours today!

As soon as I saw the sentiment that says “Dear Santa, I can explain”, I knew I just had to create a fun postcard to Santa…so she can send a little note to Santa…to explain of course!

We will be stamping and coloring on some Tim Holtz Kraft Heavystock. To begin, let’s stamp the postcard sentiment at the top and then we can draw in some lines to complete the postcard look. Let’s also stamp some musical notes from that same stamp set. Now we can stamp the sentiment in a pretty Red Geranium color.

Next, let’s stamp our focal image and for the coloring we will be using the brand new Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils. These pencils are so simple and easy to use…and when we color on the kraft cardstock we will get a more muted look which will work perfectly for our vintage postcard. I’ll give you a few tips and tricks for using these pencils in a unique and different way!

Now we can mount the postcard onto some red and white striped paper from the Tim Holtz – Worn Wallpaper Scraps and we will also be using some ephemera from the Tim Holtz – Christmas Ephemera pack.

Finally, we can add some Distress Oxide Ink in Walnut Stain around the edges for a more vintage look. And for a bit of sparkle, we can add some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen to some of the images!

Let’s make a super fun and special card today! This card is called a Center Step Card and although it looks a bit complicated it is really quite simple! In the video today, I will give you all of the dimensions and cutting/scoring measurements to create this fun fold card.

For the focal image, we will be using an image from the Ai Cheers My Deers Set (5565) of two of the cutest little ladies, all decked out in their holiday best. The antlers are the perfect finishing touch for their outfits!

For our coloring today we will be using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Flesh Colour, Mustard, Beige, Ever Green, Moss Green, Deep Red, Mid Brown, Lt Gray.

The card base will be created using some kraft cardstock and for some festive holiday layers we will be using the Letters to Santa Collection from Carta Bella. Including some double-sided 12″x12″ Solids, a wonderful 6″x6″ Paper Pad and some pretty Enamel Dots. I have even included all of the measurements that you will need for all of these layering papers!

Let’s wrap some white cording around the top of the center portion of our card and tie a pretty bow!

My first thought was to create an elegant wreath card and a “go to” wreath stamp and die set for me is the Ai Christmas Wreath Set (4791).

To set the scene, let’s grab a beautiful blue sky paper and a white woodgrain paper from the Photoplay – It’s a wonderful Christmas – 6″x6″ Paper Pad. For the rectangle die we will be using the Ai Rectangle A2 Double-Stitched Dies (5063).

Next, we can die cut a window using the Ai Journal Template Die Set (5543). This set contains several dies that not only create a wonderful journal but also can be used separately and in many different ways!

To add to our elegant look we can stamp and die cut the beautiful wreath using some embossing powder in Liquid Platinum.

For our coloring, we will simply add a bit of Haze Blue marker and some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen for some sparkle.

The sentiments will come from the new Ai Christmas Sentiments Set (5542). This set has tons of Holiday sentiments that you will love!

Let’s die cut a pretty banner for our sentiment using that same Ai Journal Template Set that we used earlier.

We will pop-up the wreath and sentiment using some 3D Foam Tape. Finally, we can add some beautiful baubles and pearls…of course!

Today we will be using two brand new stamp sets from the Ai Watercolor Series called the Harvest Set (5598) and Ai Sentiments Set (5600). These sets are part of the 2022 Fall Release that includes several wonderful Fall and Halloween stamp sets, paper packs and some add-on sets for the Journal Template Series.

I thought it would be fun to have our Harvest Set image look as though it were a painting that the little Ai 2022 Freebie (Dog) was creating. By the way, this little Freebie is available with a $30 purchase and there are several cute little critters to choose from…while supplies last! But this one was perfect because his little paw was reaching out…perfect for holding a paint brush. This little brush is from the Ai Craft Bag and Die Set (5502).

I decided to do some no-line coloring on the “painting” so that it would look a bit more realistic. It is super easy and fun…and I will give you some tips and tricks for this no-line coloring technique. To do this technique we will be using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Pale Orange, Blossom Pink, Bright Yellow, Orange, Mustard, Deep Vermilion, Aquamarine Blue, Smoky Teal, Beige, Mid Brown, Lt Gray, Olive Green, Mid Green.

To set the scene, we will be using some beautiful patterned papers from the Ai Harvest Journal Paper Pack, which is a double-sided (6″x6″) paper pack with loads of gorgeous fall colors! We can die cut these using the Ai Rectangle A2 Double-Stitched Die Set (5063).

To create the little easel we will be using the Lawn Fawn Canvas and Easel Die Set. This set will give us both the easel and the little stool for our cute puppy to stand on … and we will be die cutting this from the brand new Tim Holtz Distress Gray Two-Tone Woodgrain Cardstock.

As a finishing touch, we can add some pretty Metallic Pearls in a matte gold color!

Front Porch Party Pop-up Card!

Let’s create a fun pop-up card using a stamp and die set from the Ai Front Porch Collection. Today we will be using the Ai Front Porch Party Set (5491)…but keep in mind that you will need the Ai Front Porch Set (5512) in order to create the basic front porch design. This collection is just so much fun! The latest additions to this collection included a Harvest Set (5492), Christmas Set (5489), and a Halloween Set (5487).

For today’s card I will be showing you how to create a pop-up element for the inside of your card. Super easy to do and NO dies needed for this pop-up design…just a pair of scissors!

To get started we will be stenciling a festive confetti background using a set of stencils from the Lawn Fawn Collection and for our pastel palette we will be using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in a variety of colors.

Next we can stamp and color all of these party elements for our front porch including presents, balloons, a birthday banner and so much more! I decided to color my front door in a pretty pink…it just made me happy…but you can have fun coloring it in your favorite color!!! All of the coloring will be done using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Lt Pink, Peach Pink, Yellow, Lt Green, Lt Blue, Cobalt Blue, Lt Gray, and Platinum Brown.

We will add a sentiment for the front of the card using the Ai Baby Critters Set (5400) and the Ai Oval Double Stitched Dies (5065). We will ink the stamp use our sponge daubers so that we can add one color at a time to give our sentiment a rainbow of color. This is a great way to change up the look of your sentiment stamps.

Finally, I will show you how to create this pop-up element and how to assemble this simple pop-up card!
