Cheers My Deers – Center Step Card

Let’s make a super fun and special card today! This card is called a Center Step Card and although it looks a bit complicated it is really quite simple! In the video today, I will give you all of the dimensions and cutting/scoring measurements to create this fun fold card.

For the focal image, we will be using an image from the Ai Cheers My Deers Set (5565) of two of the cutest little ladies, all decked out in their holiday best. The antlers are the perfect finishing touch for their outfits!

For our coloring today we will be using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Flesh Colour, Mustard, Beige, Ever Green, Moss Green, Deep Red, Mid Brown, Lt Gray.

The card base will be created using some kraft cardstock and for some festive holiday layers we will be using the Letters to Santa Collection from Carta Bella. Including some double-sided 12″x12″ Solids, a wonderful 6″x6″ Paper Pad and some pretty Enamel Dots. I have even included all of the measurements that you will need for all of these layering papers!

Let’s wrap some white cording around the top of the center portion of our card and tie a pretty bow!

Art Impressions “Cruise Control” Center Step Card

Happy Wednesday Ai Fans!!!

Let’s create a fun Center Step Card today using the wonderful images from the Ai Pack Your Bags (4932) stamp set. This set includes all of the images that you will need to create a great scene! It includes this adorable couple all decked out in their floral print shirts and enough bags for a long relaxing vacation!

I wanted to create some unique dimensions to accommodate the different sizes between the man and woman images. He is carrying a lot of bags…so I wanted the left side of the Step Card to be a bit wider and the right side to be a bit narrower. I will give you all of the dimensions and instructions to create this unique sized Center Step Card!

We will also create a beautiful sky using the Distress Oxide Ink Pads in Festive Berries, Abandoned Coral, and Mustard Seed. These three colors will make the perfect blend for our sky! For the ocean, we will be using the Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean inks.

To create the dock for our vacationers, we will be using a 3D Embossing Folder which will create the look of woodgrain with lots of dimension!

These cards are so much fun to make….I hope you give it a try!!! This card would be great for a birthday, retirement, or a vacation celebration card!!!
