Today we will be creating a pretty scene using the brand-new Ai Storybook Template Die Set (6121) and Ai Thinking of Home – Storybook Set (6116). You will need the box die set to create this 3D diorama design…this is sold separately. Then you can purchase the add-on stamp scene that you like the best!

The ornament box can be used as a 3D diorama design like we will be creating today however it can also be used to create a shaker box design! All of the dies are included to create the box and the layers needed for the inside of the design. There is also a tab die that can be used to hang this fun ornament and there is a small tag die as well.

Let’s get started by stamping, coloring and die-cutting all of the little pieces in this tranquil scene. For the coloring we will be using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Peach Pink, Lt Pink, English Lavender, Lt Violet, Yellow, Orange, Haze Blue, L Blue, Smoky Teal, Turquoise Green, May Green, Green, Beige, Mid Brown, Gray Brown, Lt Gray.

You will notice there is a little curved tab on each of these pieces once they are die-cut. These will fit perfectly into our diorama design.

At this point I will direct you to the video so that we can go through the entire process step-by-step and this will allow you to follow along if you wish and pause if you need more time.

To finish the project, let’s add some velvet ribbon for hanging the ornament, a metal plaque that says, “Just remember a beautiful thing is never perfect”, and a few pretty pink hearts! I’ll show you how to add some color to your metal plaques using the Tim Holtz Distress Crayons!

Nature’s Palette Father’s Day Card!

Let’s create a nature’s palette card that is perfect for Father’s Day! We will be using several stamps sets to combine several of nature’s beautiful elements. This card is perfect for the current Ai “Mix and Match” Blog Challenge and would also be great for birthdays and retirement as well!

Let’s begin by die-cutting the Ai Story Tile Template Die (6158). This will give us a fun grid pattern to showcase all of our stamped images. We will die cut this grid frame twice … once from white cardstock and once from a nice rustic plaid paper from the Ai Winter Woodland Cover PP (5964).

We can glue the two frames together and with the white panels that were die cut we will do our stamping. I thought it would be fun to use the Ai Wild Buck Foundation (6067), the Ai Hiker Foundation (6068), and the wonderful Ai WC Bear Set (6064).

The hardest part is deciding which images to use and where to place them! Once we have stamped all of the panels we will do some coloring using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Ice Blue, Smoky Teal, Aquamarine Blue, Blue Gray, Lt Green, Green, Flesh Colour, Mustard, Beige, Sand, Brown, Mid Brown, Gray Brown.

For the grassy areas and the foliage on the trees we will use the Ai Foliage Set (4051). This will add a lot of interest to the card and it’s so easy to do!

Next, we will add some little dots of color, to represent flowers, on the tops of the grassy areas. We will use gel pens in white, green, and blue. This will keep a masculine look to the card.

Now we can add all of the panels back to the card and for the sentiment we will use the Ai Just for Him Set (6063). This set has tons of sentiments including (husband, Daddy, Grandfather, etc.) We can pop up the sentiment for a little bit of variation and interest.

For a finishing touch, let’s add a bit of sparkle to the windows on the cabin and the water. For this, we will use the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen.

3D Shadow Box – Delightful Daisies!

Let’s create this fun little 3D Shadow Box using the brand-new Daisy Border Set (6188) and the brand-new Euro Cottage Set (6184). The daisy border set also includes the “For my friend” sentiment.

These sets are part of a brand-new Countryside Series which includes three border sets and two cottage sets. The other sets include the Poppy Border set, the Tulip Border set, and the Swiss Village set. I will list and link the bundle set down below if you are interested in taking a look at the entire collection. Of course, as always, you can purchase any of these sets separately.

We will also be using one of the new 2026 FREEBIE Bear Sets! These are available for free when you make a $30 purchase. The FREEBIE I have chosen for today is the little bear holding a daisy…perfect for today’s card!

We will begin by stamping the images and coloring them using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Lt Violet, Ice Blue, Blue Gray, Yellow, Orange, Lt Green, Dk Green, Lt Gray, Dk Gray, Mustard, Beige, Mid Brown. Once the coloring is complete, we can die cut them and/or fussy cut them.

To create the shadow box, we will be using the Ai Storybook Template Die Set (6121). This is so easy and quick to use and assemble. I will give you all of the instructions and some tips and tricks in today’s video!

We will color in the sky and add some spattering and die cut a few grassy borders to add to our layers.

Let’s add the sentiment using a banner die from the Ai Storybook Template Die Set (6121) and pop it up on the front of the box.

Next, we can stamp a few more daisies for the front of the box and over the sentiment, and finally, we can also add a few sparkly gems and some twine/ribbon to the little tab at the top of the box!

This little box stands up nicely on its own, but you could use it as an ornament or even add an easel to the back of it to make it even more special!

Today we will be using the brand-new Ai Love Blooms (6195) Set. This new set is part of the wonderful watercolor “Foundation Sets” series; however, I want to show you how you can modify these sets to fit your style and comfort level. The best part is that there are 5 more sets in this brand-new “Floral Shop” series and they are all included in this bundle or they can be purchased individually. This is a great value and does include all 6 of the new Foundations Sets as well as the Floral Shop Dies (6159) which are designed to add-on to your Box Village Template Die Set and 2 beautiful new paper packs!

For today’s card, we will stamp the little front window scene, however, we will only stamp the top portion of the image (not including the 3 pots at the bottom). Let’s also stamp a few items from the Ai Front Porch Garden Set (5486), to include the floral vine and potted flowers. This way we can easily fill the containers with the flowers from the Front Porch Set and easily add the floral vine around the window.

Now we can color, fussy cut and die cut the images. All of the coloring will be done using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Pink, Lilac, Ice Blue, Lt Green, Dk Green, Orange, Yellow, Lt Gray, Beige, Platinum Brown.

Next, let’s assemble the little scene and add a few bits of interest using our white gel pen! This scene will now get popped up on the card front.

But first, we need to cut some pretty patterned papers from the Ai Mother’s Day PP (6051) using the Ai Nested Square Dies (5725) for the pink polka dotted paper and the multi-colored plaid paper. For the back layer of gingham paper, we will cut a simple rectangle to the full length of the square card base. On this rectangle we will stamp the “Love Blooms Here” sentiment from this same set.

Let’s again add some more dimension by popping up the entire rectangle panel, but before we do that, we will need to wrap some pretty pink twine around this panel and tie a bow!

And for a finishing touch, we will add some sparkly gems in clear, pink and green!

These new sets will be a wonderful addition to your watercolor collection; however, you can see how easily you can use them is a brand-new way! Just have fun!

Cottage Charm – Thinking of You Card!

Today we will be using the brand-new Ai Story Tile Template Die Set (6158) and the cute Ai Cottage Charm (6179 Set. For the little basket on the bike, we will stamp some tiny hearts using the Ai His Love Set (6150) and we will also color and cut a little puppy from the Ai Dwelling Animal Set 1 (5991) and place him inside the basket….so cute!!!

Next, we will die cut the frame die but we will be cutting it down to a square shape. I thought it would be fun to show you how to change up the frame to suit your needs and to make it more versatile. I’ll show you exactly how I did this in today’s video!

For each of the panels that are die cut from the frame, we will add a blue sky and some white spattering. And then we can die cut the panels again with some green cardstock and cut them down a bit to create the look of grass.

For one of the panels, we will stamp the “Thinking of You” sentiment from the Ai Dear Friend (6180) stamp set and emboss it using some white embossing powder. Also, for a few of the panels we will add a picket fence using the Ai Box Village Template (6114).

Once we have cut down the frame, we will add it to a pretty pink plaid paper layer from the Ai Valentine’s Paper Pack S2 (6181).

Finally, for a few finishing touches we will add some hemp twine and sparkly sequins!

Lawn Fawn – “Micey Nice” Valentine’s Card!

Let’s have some fun today using the adorable new “Valentine Mice” stamps, stencils and dies from Lawn Fawn!

To begin, we will stamp and color the images using the coordinating stencil set. This makes the coloring so easy to do. Just line up the stencils with your little critters and stencil away! For inks we will be using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxides in Spun Sugar, Festive Berries, and Hickory Smoke.

Next, we can die cut the images with the coordinating dies. Let’s set these aside while we create this wonderful foursquare frame using the Lawn Fawn Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait. We will die cut the frame from some Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock and color each of the squares using the TH Distress Oxide Inks in Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers. This will give us a pretty sky as the backdrop for our little scene.

We will layer up 3 to 4 frames so that we get some nice dimension on the frame. Let’s also ink the edges and spatter the frame.

We can glue the frame onto our card base, add the four “sky” squares and then add our die cut images and clouds from that same backdrop die set. Be sure to stamp your sentiment before you place the sky into the frame. I used the sentiments that are from this same stamp set. The front of the card says, “Sending Love Your Way…” and the inside says, “For Valentine’s Day!”.

Now we will die cut the beautiful Lawn Faw Quilted Heart Border from some “Ballet Slippers” cardstock and the place some “Raspberry” cardstock behind the border. Be sure to keep the little hearts that are die cut from this border and add them to the four squares!

Attach the border to the bottom of the card and add some pretty LF Hemp Twine in white just above this border.

As a finishing touch, we can add some sparkle to the little hearts using the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen!

Woodland Horse Scene – Easel Card!

Let’s create this “easel” card today using the brand-new Ai Woodland Horse Scene (6087) stamp! This set is part of the new Ai Woodland Series Stamp Sets! There are six new sets in this series! Let’s get started by stamping and coloring the images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Shadow Pink, Deep Red, Ice Blue, Smoky Teal, Ever Green, Orange, Mustard, Brick Beige, Mid Brown, Lt Gray, Gray.

Next, we can die cut some scalloped circle layers using the Ai Scalloped Circle Dies (6045) and layer these together. We will use some 3D Foam Squares to pop-up the scene onto the open scalloped circle.

Now let’s build the “easel” card base (which I will show you in today’s video) and add some pretty patterned paper layers using the Ai Winter Woodland PP (5963).

We can add the scene to the card by adding glue to only the lower half of the scalloped circle and this will allow the card to fold and stand up which creates the “easel” for our card.

We will add a sentiment to the inside of the card using the Ai Christmas Slimline Set (5461) and it will say “There’s snowbuddy like you!”. I love this sentiment because it can be used for a holiday, birthday, friendship or even a Valentine’s card! We will use those same circle dies to layer up the sentiment and then we will pop this up as well thereby creating the “easel” design.

Let’s add a few sparkly gems to tie everything together!

How To Create a Winter Scene – Bridge Card!

We are going to have some great fun today creating a pretty winter scene “bridge” card! Don’t worry it is super simple, and I will give you all of the instructions and dimensions in today’s video!

Let’s create this “bridge” card today using the brand-new Ai Woodland Bench Scene (6088) stamp! This set is part of the new Woodland Series Stamp Sets! There are six new sets in this series! Let’s get started by stamping and coloring the images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Lt Beige, Yellow, Orange, Persian Green, Haze Blue, Aquamarine Blue, Dull Blue, Purple, Beige, Mid Brown, Platinum Brown, Green Gray, Lt Gray, Gray.

Next, we can create a pretty gold frame for this image using the Ai Oval Double Stitched Dies (5065) and the Ai Scalloped Oval Dies (6046).

To create the “bridge” design we will be cutting the center portion from a standard A2 size card. I will show you exactly how to do this in today’s video!

We will add a few embossed panels to each side of the card. This will not only add some elegance to the card but will also give a bit more stability to the card.

Now we will glue the oval frame to the front of the card…. only applying glue to the sides of the oval. I did back the framed oval with a solid gold oval to finish off the inside of the card as well; however you may skip this step if you wish.

For the inside of the card, we will die cut two more stitched ovals from gold and white cardstock and stamp the sentiment. Let’s also emboss the sentiment with some gold embossing powder to continue that elegant look! I’ll show you a little trick for lining this up perfectly on the inside of the card!

For a finishing touch, we can add a few pretty glittery snowflakes to the front and inside of the card and a few sparkly gems in the center of the snowflakes!

Let’s take a look at this brand-new Ai Fall Keepsake Set (6105). This adorable little set includes several adorable critters including an owl, cat, and fox, an arrangement of leaves and a pumpkin, a mushroom, and several coordinating sentiments! The bucket is designed to hold the beautiful fall arrangement, as well as any of the critters!

To begin, we will stamp and color all of the images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Shadow Pink, Yellow, Orange, Mustard, Lt Brown, Sand, Beige, Mid Brown, Gray Brown, Lt Gray, Gray, Deep Red, Ever Green, Olive Green, May Green, Green. Now we can die cut these and set them aside while we create our pretty leaf frame using the Ai Fall Leaf Frame Set (5783).

Let’s die cut three frames using some smooth cream-colored cardstock and glue them together to create a nice thick frame.

Now we will use some pumpkin-colored cardstock for the background on our frame. Let’s spatter this paper with some Tim Holtz Distress Spritz in Rusty Hinge and Walnut Stain. This will add some interest and a pretty shimmer!

We will use the Ai Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies (5063) to create a chocolate brown layer and to create a pretty leaf background. For the leafy background we will use the Ai Fall S2 PP (5973). This paper pack has several fun fall papers that you could use here!

We can add the layers to a cream-colored card base, but before we add the leaf frame, we will add a “thankful” sentiment from that same stamp set and die cut using a pretty label die from the Ai Portfolio Template Die Set (5952). This will create a fun surprise element to the top of the frame and also give us a reason to lower the leaf frame on the card to accommodate the owl in the upper left-hand corner.

Going to the Ai Harvest Journal Die Set (5592), we will die cut the “Hello Fall” sentiment from some chocolate brown cardstock and we will also die cut and color some leaves from this same set.

Using some 3D Foam Squares and glue we can add all of our little images to this fun fall scene!

NEW Art Impressions Halloween w/ Moonlit Midnight Sky!

I’m so happy to be showing you this brand-new Ai Pumpkin Parade Set (6112) that includes several little critters all dressed up for Halloween and it also includes several coordinating sentiments and some fun candy elements as well as the coordinating dies! Today’s card was also inspired by the current Ai “In the Navy” Blog Challenge with our midnight blue sky and borders!

Let’s set the stage for our little spooky critters by creating a moonlit sky! To do this we will die-cut a stitched rectangle from some smooth cardstock. We will create the moon using a two-part moon stencil, one is a solid circle, and the other provides some details to the moon.

We will place the solid circle mask onto the cardstock and start with some ink blending around the moon using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in Tumbled Glass, Chipped Sapphire, Villainous Potion and Black Soot.

Next, leaving the mask in place we can add some stars using a stencil and some clear glitter paste. Some of the ink from under the stars will bleed up into the glitter paste for a really pretty look! Let’s also add some additional sparkle using the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter.

Let’s remove the circle mask and add the additional detail to the moon with the second stencil and some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink in Hickory Smoke.

Now we can color and die-cut the critters and color them using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Yellow, Orange, Gray, Gray Brown, Mid Brown, Sand, Beige, Dk Oatmeal, Lt Gray.

Now that the stenciling is dry we will die-cut a few borders from some navy-blue cardstock, this will tie in nicely with the dark blue and purple sky! We can ink the edges of the borders using that same Black Soot ink that we used on the blended sky.

We can add the borders using some foam tape and add all of our cute trick-or-treaters. I thought it would be fun to fussy cut some candy corn using the Ai Halloween S2 Paper Pack (5849) and add them to the Halloween buckets and also have it look like the owl is sprinkling some of the candy around as he flies near the moon!

For the sentiment we will use a label die with rounded corners from the Ai Journal Template Die Set (5543) and stamp a sentiment from that same stamp set. Let’s also ink this with some more Chipped Sapphire ink!

For a finishing touch, we will add some pretty sparkly gems!
