Front Porch Garden Card!

Today we are going to be using another wonderful Front Porch Series stamp set! This is the Ai Front Porch Garden Set (5486) and has so many beautiful images including a few potted plants, floral wreath, topiary, floral vine and even a cute little pair of rain boots! Please note that you will need the Ai Front Porch Set (5512) to create the basic front porch and door. I’ll talk a bit more about that in the video and give you a closer look at that set!

Let’s get started by stamping and coloring all of these sweet little images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens as follows: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Peach Pink, Pale Orange, Orange, Scarlet Red, Yellow, Lt Violet, Lt Green, Deep Green, Mid Green, Moss Green, Mid Gray, Lt Gray, Beige, Lt Brown, Sand, Mid Brown, Smoky Teal.

Since this set includes the coordinating dies we can go ahead and die cut all of these little pieces!

To set the scene for our front porch we will use a 3D Deck Planks Embossing Folder and then we will add a bit of gray in-between the wood slats for a bit more interest and dimension. We will also cut a strip of paper for the bottom of the card and use a blending brush to add some Tim Holtz Twisted Citron Oxide Ink and Rustic Wilderness and give this panel a little spatter for some added interest!

I’m creating a card to celebrate a new home….so I have selected the “Home Sweet Home” sentiment from the Ai Front Porch Set. However, keep in mind that this card could be used for many different occasions! This was stamped onto a pretty die cut label using the die from the Ai Journal Template Die Set (5543). Once we die cut the label we can do a bit of blending using that same Tim Holtz Twisted Citron Oxide Ink and then we can add some stitched lines using a permanent black pen!

Let’s assemble the card with glue and foam squares for added dimension!

Front Porch Patriotic Card w/ Metallic Texture Paste!

I’ve got a brand new front porch stamp and die set to show you today! This fantastic set is the Ai Front Porch Patriotic Set (5494) and includes all of the add-on items needed to create a beautifully patriotic front porch scene! Please note that you will need the Ai Front Porch Set (5512) to create the basic front porch and door. I’ll talk a bit more about that in the video and give you a closer look at that set!

To set the scene for our card we will be creating a star filled sky using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in several beautiful blues and for some added dimension we will be using the wonderful Ranger Texture Paste in Metallic White! This paste literally goes on like butter and just adds so much texture and dimension to our starry sky!

Next we can stamp, color and die cut all of our patriotic images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Peach Pink, Carmine Red, Yellow, Smoky Yellow, Ever Green, Blue Gray, Blue, Lt Gray, Gray, Beige, Mid Brown.

For the sentiment let’s go to the Ai Christmas Sentiments Set (5566) and select “Warmest Wishes” and stamp it onto the banner from the Ai Journal Template Die Set (5543). This will be a great place to put the red, white and blue banner!

Let’s assemble the card and add a few sparkly stars to the pillow, mat, bucket and star!

This card is going to be great for Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Veterans Day or any birthday celebrations that occur around these holidays! This is just such a great addition to the Front Porch Series….I hope you love this set as much as I do!

Front Porch Valentine Card – BRAND NEW RELEASE!!!

Let’s take a look at another brand new stamp set! This set is part of the Ai Front Porch series and is called the Front Porch Valentines Set (5493). This fun Valentine’s set includes all of the pieces you will need to create a beautiful love themed front porch including a heart wreath, mailbox, flowers, a cute little “friend” sign, a pretty banner and the cutest rocking chair with a cat and a dog taking a little nap, and so much more!

The Front Porch series includes many different designs including many of the holidays, a party theme, garden theme, a farmhouse theme, to name a few. Keep in mind that all of these sets can be mixed and matched as well…so that gives you lots of options to create a personalized and unique front porch card of your own! To set the scene for our front porch today we will begin by stenciling on some pretty hearts using the Lawn Fawn Falling Heart Stencils. We will use two of Tim Holtz’s Distress Oxide Ink Pad colors including the brand new Lumberjack Plaid, as well as, the pretty Saltwater Taffy. For our background color we will be using some kraft cardstock in a 100lb weight.

Next we can stamp and color all of these little images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Lt Carmine, Deep Red, Lt Gray, Ever Green, Moss Green, Beige, Mid Brown.

This set comes with the coordinating dies…so let’s go ahead and die cut all of our images!

To finish off this square card we can layer up some cardstock in the white and kraft colors and and our pretty hearts background and now we can add all of our images to the front porch for a “love-ly” scene!

Front Porch Party Pop-up Card!

Let’s create a fun pop-up card using a stamp and die set from the Ai Front Porch Collection. Today we will be using the Ai Front Porch Party Set (5491)…but keep in mind that you will need the Ai Front Porch Set (5512) in order to create the basic front porch design. This collection is just so much fun! The latest additions to this collection included a Harvest Set (5492), Christmas Set (5489), and a Halloween Set (5487).

For today’s card I will be showing you how to create a pop-up element for the inside of your card. Super easy to do and NO dies needed for this pop-up design…just a pair of scissors!

To get started we will be stenciling a festive confetti background using a set of stencils from the Lawn Fawn Collection and for our pastel palette we will be using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in a variety of colors.

Next we can stamp and color all of these party elements for our front porch including presents, balloons, a birthday banner and so much more! I decided to color my front door in a pretty pink…it just made me happy…but you can have fun coloring it in your favorite color!!! All of the coloring will be done using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Lt Pink, Peach Pink, Yellow, Lt Green, Lt Blue, Cobalt Blue, Lt Gray, and Platinum Brown.

We will add a sentiment for the front of the card using the Ai Baby Critters Set (5400) and the Ai Oval Double Stitched Dies (5065). We will ink the stamp use our sponge daubers so that we can add one color at a time to give our sentiment a rainbow of color. This is a great way to change up the look of your sentiment stamps.

Halloween Goodie Bag/Party Favor

Today we will be making a spooky little party favor! To create this fun goodie bag we will be using the brand new Ai Front Porch Halloween Set (5487) which has so many cute little halloween items that can be used as intended with the Ai Front Porch Set (5512). But as you probably know by now, if you watch my videos, I like to change things up a bit.  So I’ll use the elements of this set to create this Halloween party favor. I always try to use my stamps and dies in a variety of ways so that I can get a lot more use out of them!

We will be using the Goodie Bag die to create this adorable little bag! Then we can create a spooky sky using the Tim Holtz Mini Ink Pads in Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot. We will “smoosh” these inks onto our craft mat, spritz them with some water, and then apply our paper onto these inks. Once the inks have been applied we can add more color by repeating this technique as many times as needed to get that spooky sky!

Let’s also spatter this sky with some metallic watercolor in an unexpected teal color. This will add a lot of sparkle and interest to our sky!

We can stamp and color all of these wonderful images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Orange, Bright Yellow, Beige, Mid Brown, Gray, Lt Gray, Brick Beige.

Also, since this set comes with the coordinating dies we can go ahead and die cut all of our images. We can also die cut the bat from some glitter deco paper!

Let’s also create a little graveyard and some fun clouds for our scene using a Tim Holtz die set. In order to make the pumpkin lights look a little bit more realistic we will add some clear glaze over the top of each one of these tiny lights! We can now put some coordinating paper shreds/crinkle paper in the bag for added color and fun!

Art Impressions – New Release – Front Porch Harvest Door Card!!!

Today I will be showing you another brand new stamp and die set from the Ai Front Porch Series! This set is the Ai Front Porch Harvest Set (5492) and it includes the coordinating dies. This beautiful fall set is an add-on set to the original Ai Front Porch Set (5512)….keep in mind that you will need this set in order to create todays card!

Let’s go ahead and stamp and die cut and color all of our little images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Blossom Pink, Deep Vermillion, Yellow, Orange, Smoky Yellow, Ever Green, Mustard, Beige, Sand, Aquamarine Blue, Smoky Teal, Mid Brown, Lt Gray, and Gray.

To set the scene we will create a beautiful cloudy sky using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink in the new Uncharted Mariner! Next we can create a frame for our card by die cutting several frames using the Ai Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies (5063) and gluing them all together. This will give us a nice thick frame for our scene! We can add a bit of ink around the edges to give it an aged look using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink in Ground Espresso. Next, we can create a grassy border using some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink in Peeled Paint.

Now we can stamp and color the front door. We will color this with some browns and grays to give it a rustic look and color the front door itself in a Smoky Teal color to give it a pop of color and tie it in with our other images!

Let’s also add a few birds from the brand new Ai Birds and Bugs Set (5561). This will add some interest and dimension to the sky!

Now for the fun part….putting all of these cute little pieces on our front porch!!!

Art Impressions – New Release – Farmhouse Front Porch Door Card!!!

For todays video I have another wonderful new stamp and die set from the Art Impressions Spring 2022 Release!!! We will be using the Ai Front Door Porch Set (5512) and the Ai Farmhouse Front Porch Door Set (5490). Do keep in mind that these two sets are sold separately…but once you have purchased the Front Porch Door Set you will be able to use it with all of the other add-on sets including the Easter Set, Garden Set, Party Set, and Farmhouse Set!!!

Let’s start by coloring in all of our images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Yellow, Mustard, Brick Beige, Lt Gray, Mid Green, Olive Green, Green, Mid Brown, Blue Gray, Peacock Blue, Deep Red. This set contains some beautiful potted plants, a wreath, a cute “Hello” sign, a lantern, some cute sentiments, and so much more!

To create a beautiful woodgrain background we will be using a Wood Plank 3D Embossing Folder. We will add some color to this by inking up the embossing folder and running it through the die cutting machine. This will apply the ink and do the embossing all at the same time!!! This is a simple and fun technique for your embossing folders!

Let’s turn this into an easel card so that the recipient can display this on a tabletop! This is a simple, yet fun way to add extra interest to your card! I’ll show you how to easily turn a basic card design into an easel card.

I had previously done a card using the Front Porch Easter Set which is linked below!!! This Easter set contains some lovely flowers, and egg wreath, and Easter basket, a few cute little birdhouses, a cart full of bunnies, and much more!

Art Impressions – New Release – Easter Front Porch Door Card!

I’m so excited to be showing you some images from the Art Impressions new Spring 2022 Release! Today we will be using the new Front Porch Door Set (5512) and the Front Porch Easter Set (5488). Do keep in mind that these two sets are sold separately…but once you have purchased the Front Porch Door Set you will be able to use it will all of the other add-on sets including the Easter Set, Garden Set, Party Set, and Farmhouse Set!!! I already have something fun planned for the Farmhouse Set…so keep and eye out for that!

First, we will stamp, color and die cut our our door. When you die cut this door it will cut our the windows and it will allow the door to open and close for a fun interactive touch!

Next, we will stamp, color and die cut out all of the elements in the Front Porch Easter Set in order to create a beautiful Easter doorway! This Easter set contains some lovely flowers, and egg wreath, and Easter basket, a few cute little birdhouses, a cart full of bunnies, and much more….plus you will get several coordinating sentiments! But…don’t forget to mix and match your other Ai Sets…the Matchbook images would work really well with this front door!

For our background, we will be using a fun brick stencil! We will be spattering the brick pattern with inks … to add some texture and interest!
