Let’s create a fun pop-up card using a stamp and die set from the Ai Front Porch Collection. Today we will be using the Ai Front Porch Party Set (5491)…but keep in mind that you will need the Ai Front Porch Set (5512) in order to create the basic front porch design. This collection is just so much fun! The latest additions to this collection included a Harvest Set (5492), Christmas Set (5489), and a Halloween Set (5487).

For today’s card I will be showing you how to create a pop-up element for the inside of your card. Super easy to do and NO dies needed for this pop-up design…just a pair of scissors!

To get started we will be stenciling a festive confetti background using a set of stencils from the Lawn Fawn Collection and for our pastel palette we will be using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in a variety of colors.

Next we can stamp and color all of these party elements for our front porch including presents, balloons, a birthday banner and so much more! I decided to color my front door in a pretty pink…it just made me happy…but you can have fun coloring it in your favorite color!!! All of the coloring will be done using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Lt Pink, Peach Pink, Yellow, Lt Green, Lt Blue, Cobalt Blue, Lt Gray, and Platinum Brown.

We will add a sentiment for the front of the card using the Ai Baby Critters Set (5400) and the Ai Oval Double Stitched Dies (5065). We will ink the stamp use our sponge daubers so that we can add one color at a time to give our sentiment a rainbow of color. This is a great way to change up the look of your sentiment stamps.

Finally, I will show you how to create this pop-up element and how to assemble this simple pop-up card!
