Lawn Fawn – Wood You Be Mine? (w/ Distress Oxide Sprays)

In today’s video we will be using the brand new “Wood You Be Mine?” stamp and die sets. This little set has the most adorable little beavers and lots of fun coordinating elements to build a fun scene. It also includes several sentiments which coordinate perfectly with these little critters!

First let’s stamp and color in all of our images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Bender, Sugared Almond Pink, Lt Violet, Smoky Yellow, Mid Green, Olive Green, Mustard, Beige, Mid Brown, Dk Brown, Gray Brown. Next we can die cut all of our images using the coordinating die set.

To create this beautiful sky we will be using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Sprays in Picked Raspberry, Shaded Lilac, and Villainous Potion.

Now we can add some beautiful metallic stars using Lawn Fawn Starry Sky Stencil and the Ranger Texture Paste in Metallic White. This paste goes on so easy and gives a beautiful result. For the star stencil we will be using the Lawn Fawn Starry Sky Stencil!

Next we can die cut the Lawn Fawn Stitched Mountain Borders and the Lawn Fawn Stitched Pond! We can quickly add some waves to our little pond using the images from this stamp set and emboss these with some white embossing powder.

To create our sentiment banner we will be using the Lawn Fawn Everyday Sentiments Banner Die along with the sentiment that says “Wood You Be Mine?”….so cute!!!

As a finishing touch, we can add a few of the Spellbinders Purple Opalescent Sequins!

Today’s card was inspired by the current Lawn Fawn Blog Challenge #140 which is called “Let’s Celebrate”. For this challenge we will need to create a project with a celebration theme! So I chose to create a fun Valentine’s Day card.

Halloween Goodie Bag/Party Favor

Today we will be making a spooky little party favor! To create this fun goodie bag we will be using the brand new Ai Front Porch Halloween Set (5487) which has so many cute little halloween items that can be used as intended with the Ai Front Porch Set (5512). But as you probably know by now, if you watch my videos, I like to change things up a bit.  So I’ll use the elements of this set to create this Halloween party favor. I always try to use my stamps and dies in a variety of ways so that I can get a lot more use out of them!

We will be using the Goodie Bag die to create this adorable little bag! Then we can create a spooky sky using the Tim Holtz Mini Ink Pads in Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot. We will “smoosh” these inks onto our craft mat, spritz them with some water, and then apply our paper onto these inks. Once the inks have been applied we can add more color by repeating this technique as many times as needed to get that spooky sky!

Let’s also spatter this sky with some metallic watercolor in an unexpected teal color. This will add a lot of sparkle and interest to our sky!

We can stamp and color all of these wonderful images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Orange, Bright Yellow, Beige, Mid Brown, Gray, Lt Gray, Brick Beige.

Also, since this set comes with the coordinating dies we can go ahead and die cut all of our images. We can also die cut the bat from some glitter deco paper!

Let’s also create a little graveyard and some fun clouds for our scene using a Tim Holtz die set. In order to make the pumpkin lights look a little bit more realistic we will add some clear glaze over the top of each one of these tiny lights! We can now put some coordinating paper shreds/crinkle paper in the bag for added color and fun!

Fall Fairy Garden – Platform Pop-up Card!

Today we are going to create a fun Platform Pop-up Card using the brand new Ai Little Fairies Set (5578). This set is part of the Watercolor Series from Art Impressions. I have taken the some artistic liberty in turning these adorable little angels into some sweet little fairies!

Let’s create a fun Fall garden scene using some pretty leaves from the Ai Halloween Slimline Set (5460) and a leaf border from that same set.

We can color in all of our images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Lt Pink, Flesh Color, Haze Blue, Yellow, Smoky Yellow, Ever Green, Moss Green, Beige, Mid Brown, Dk Brown, Lt Brown, Brown, Mocha Brown, Dk Peony, Bordeaux Red.

Once all of the coloring is complete, we can die cut, color and assemble the base of our card using the Lawn Fawn Platform Pop-up Die Set and the Lawn Fawn Platform Pop-up Add-on Set. I will show you how to easily assemble this entire platform!

Will be creating a pretty moon using a moon stencil and the rest of the sky using using some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pads in a variety of pinks and purples!

Finally, we can add our grassy borders, leaves, and little fairies to complete our Fall Fairy Garden Scene!

Creating with a Card Sketch using Lawn Fawn Products!!!

Today we will be creating a super simple card using the current Lawn Fawn Blog Challenge…which is to create a card using a card sketch as shown below:

This is a great way to get your creative juices flowing….especially if you are in a creative slump. This sketch technique just sort of helps you focus in on a simple idea. Sometimes this can be helpful if you get stuck on what to create. It can be overwhelming sometimes to know where to begin…and this can really help. There are lots of card sketch ideas online that you can easily reference.

To set the scene for our card we will be creating a cloudy background with three layers of clouds…this will give our background lots and lots of texture and dimension! First, we will die cut a cloudy background using the LF Stitched Cloud Backdrop Die. Secondly, we will use the LF Cloudy Stencil to add additional clouds. Thirdly, we will add some stamped and die cut clouds, which we will pop up for added dimension! Now we can spatter the clouds with some sparkle using the LF Liquid Stardust.

Let’s use the LF Rain or Shine Before ’n Afters to add a pretty rainbow and the LF Berry Special Set to add a cute little mouse!

Next we can add a simple sentiment to finish off this cute little scene using a fun banner die from the LF Everyday Sentiments Banner Die Set!

For some of the coloring, we will be using the Tombow Twintone Dual-tip Markers in the bright colors! We will also do some coloring using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens which are listed as follows: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Yellow, Orange, Aquamarine Blue, Cool Gray 3.

Lawn Fawn “Happy Bird-day” Party Favor Box

Today we will be creating a sweet birdhouse party favor box! To create the little box we will be using the LF Goodie Bag Die and for our sweet birdhouse we will be using the LF Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-on Die Set!

To set the scene for our little box we will be using the LF Stitched Cloud Backdrop (Portrait) Die and for paper we will be using the LF Watercolor Wishes 12″x12″ Collection Pack (Birthday Candles). Then we can attach two of these to the front and back of the box.

Now we can die cut all of the pieces in the LF Magic Birdhouse Die Set using the LF Flower Market Petite Paper Pack and several other papers as well. Once these are all die cut and assembled we can start adding all of these elements to the front of the box. We will be doing a bit of paper sculpting for our leaves and flowers!

For a sweet sentiment we will be using the LF Special Deliver Box Add-on which will say ” Happy Bird-day”!

I’ll show you how quick and easy it is to assemble this cute little box. This little favor box will easily hold a gift card and some sweet treats for a special someone! This would be great for a garden party, shower, or retirement favor!

So this is a “dies only” project…except for the sentiment of course! This card was inspired by the current Lawn Fawn Blog Challenge #125 – Dies Only which is picture below:

Lawn Fawn Clean & Simple Notecards w/ Envelopes

Hello and Welcome!!!

Today we will be creating three little notecards in a “Clean & Simple” design using the LF Scootin’ By stamps and dies! I will also show you how to create some matching envelopes using the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board! I will admit that I had a hard time stopping adding more and more embellishments….but I will talk about that in the video!

We will use the LF Large Slimline Die to create the cute card base with a beautiful stitched border. Then we will cut out a pretty scalloped circle with a stitched border. I’ll show you some simple tricks for masking the inside of the card to create the sky and ground.

As a finishing touch, we will add some black and white washi tape and twine to add a little bow! This will just tie everything together! Then we will add some Nuvo Crystal Drops in a Gloss White for added texture.

Let’s also make some envelopes to perfectly fit these smaller notecards. I’ll show you how to easily create these using the We R Memory Keepers Punch Board.

It is fun to create a pack of notecards and envelopes to give as a gift….just add some postage stamps and a pen to make it really special!!!

Lawn Fawn Scent of Love Polaroid Card!

Hello and Welcome!!!

In todays video we will be creating a fun “Polaroid” card using the new Lawn Fawn Scent of Love Stamps and Dies! This set includes the cutest little skunks and tons of coordinating “scent-iments”…lol!

To create our Polaroid frames we will use the Lawn Fawn Selfie Frames Dies. To set the scene for our Polaroid pictures, we will use the Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes Rainbow 6″x6″ Petite Paper Pack, which has some beautiful patterned paper that will work great to create some beautiful skies.

We will color all of these cute little skunks using our Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and all of the colors used today will be listed below.

We will add a pretty lacy border using some pink “shimmer” cardstock…and for the front of the card will be using a beautiful sparkly glitter paper and for just a bit more sparkle we will add some tiny gems!

Lawn Fawn Cerealsy Awesome Party Favor Box w/ Stenciling

Hello and Welcome!

In todays video we will create a super fun little party favor box using the wonderful new LF Cerealsly Awesome Stamps and Die! This little set is just so adorable!

This favor box would be great for any occasion but with Valentine’s Day coming this would be perfect! The box is created by using the LF Goodie Bag Die. Then we will use the LF Lots of Hearts Background Stencils to create this fun background. We will also use some Distress Oxide Inks to create a blended background of hearts.

I was thinking of my favorite cereal….and then I thought….Rice Krispie Treats! Shows you where my mind always goes…lol…right to the sweets! But the size of this box is perfect for these little treats…so it worked out perfectly!

We will use the LF Outside In Stitched Scalloped Circle Stackables Die to create a cute area to place our cereal bowl and sentiments!

Let’s add a few gems to add some sparkle and dimension and some twine at the top of our box! You could certainly add a name tag here if you wish.

Lawn Fawn Penguin Valentine Party – Z Fold Card

Hello and Welcome!!!

In todays video we will be creating a fun and unique Z Fold Card! I wanted to be able to create this card by using the Lawn Fawn Large Slimline Die as the card base so that I could have that beautiful stitched border all the way around the card. By doing this we will end up with a smaller sized card…but don’t worry…I will show you how to quickly and easily create this card and also how to make a pretty vellum envelope that will perfectly fit this smaller size card. This Z Fold design will allow us to create a super fun pop-up style card!!!

To set the scene, we will be using several images from the LF Penguin Party Sets and the LF Scent With Love Sets! We will be coloring in the images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens which are listed below.

We will also be using the wonderful LF Lots of Hearts Stencil Set to create a whimsical pink sky!
