Tim Holtz Bold Text Christmas Shaker Tags w/ Holiday Mica Sprays

Today let’s create some fun interactive Tim Holtz Shaker Tags! We will be using some brand new products from the Tim Holtz Collection including the Sizzix Thinlits Framed Tags and the Sizzix Thinlits Bold Text, Christmas Dies. I absolutely love these bold text dies…they are great for your cards, journals, and tags! We will also incorporate some beautiful 3D Impresslits into our tags including the Holly Berries, Snowflakes and Poinsettia. These 3D Impresslits die cut and emboss your image at the same time!

We will start off by inking up our tags using the brand new Tim Holtz Holiday Mica Sprays in Fresh Balsam, Tart Cranberry and Winter Frost! These will look great combined with some TH Distress Oxide Sprays. I’ll show you a few different ways to combine these products together for a beautiful background!

For some added interest we will be turning these tags into shakers by adding a bit of TH Rock Candy Glitter!

Tim Holtz Ghost Town Mixed Media Card – Coloring w/ Mica Sprays

Hello and Welcome!

In today’s video and card we will be creating a spooky mixed media Halloween scene! We will be using some brand new Halloween dies from the Tim Holtz collection! These will include the Ghost Town #2, Gate Keeper, and Regions Beyond Sets.

To do our coloring we will be using the fantastic Halloween Distress Mica Stains from Tim! These sprays have a beautiful mica shimmer which we will use to spray our background, color our haunted house, grave stones, and add dimension to the creepy gate!

To add even more creepiness and an aged effect to our gate we will add some Halloween Crypt Grit-Paste….so cool!!!! This paste would be great with a stencil as well.

We will add a fun metal Tim Holtz Word Band and add some Tim Holtz Distress Crayon in black to give it a more spooky look! And finally, we will add some twine and a few keys to secure the gate to our graveyard….sooooo scary!!!!
