Lollipop Party Favors and Gift Card Holder!

Let’s create some pretty party favors and a matching gift card holder for a special occasion! We are going to be creating some Spring favors but these would be great for a bridal shower, baby shower, anniversary party, birthday party, or even a graduation! Just change out your colors and sentiment to coordinate with your event!

These party favors were inspired by the current Art Impressions “Fabulous Flowers” Blog Challenge which is to create a card or project using any flowers of your choosing! Please feel free to join us in this fun challenge by entering your special card…we would love to see what you create!

We will start by stamping and coloring the floral arrangement for the front of the lollipops. To do this we will be using the Ai Front Porch Valentine Set (5493). This little tulip floral container is the perfect size for our project! Now we can color in this image using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Peach Pink, Yellow, Bright Yellow, Pale Green, Lt Green, Lt Blue, English Lavender.

Next let’s create our rosettes using the Ai Easter Paper Pack (5742) in the lavender polka dot paper. We will cut this paper into strips measuring 3/4″ x 6″. We can fold these using the fan fold technique and assemble the little rosettes. I’ll show you exactly how to create these in today’s video!

Once the rosettes are done we can add our floral arrangement to the front of the rosette. The entire piece can now be added to the front of the lollipop.

We will also create a fun tag for each of the lollipops using the Ai Friend Sentiments Set (5734) which says “Spring is in the Air”. We will die cut each of the sentiments from the tag die in the Ai Journal Template Die Set (5543). Now we can add a bit of color around the edges of each of the tags using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink in Shaded Lilac. Let’s add these tags to the lollipops!

We will also be creating a coordinating gift card holder in this video using the pocket die from the Ai Journal Template Die Set (5543) and that same pretty paper pack. We will also be stamping a sentiment on the gift card holder using the Ai Birthday Sentiments Set (5735) which will say “Treat Yourself”. This is perfect for our lollipop treats!

Let’s add a few pretty sequins to the gift card holder as a finishing touch!
