Today we will be creating a fun fairy’s card using some letter dies to create our sentiment! Using your letter dies is an easy way to personalize your cards and create your own custom sentiments. You can also mix and match your lettering fonts for even more fun and interest!
Let’s begin by stamping and coloring the adorable brand-new Ai Fairy Houses Set (5790). This set includes two cute little fairy houses. We will be using just one of them today but either one would work well on this card! We also need to stamp, color, and die cut the little fairies which are from the Ai Fairy Cubbies Set (5345).
All of the coloring will be done using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Blue Green, Turquoise Mint, Lt Pink, Sugared Almond Pink, Pink Flamingo, Pale Rose, Flesh Colour, Yellow, Beige, Shadow Pink, Haze Blue, Aquamarine Blue, Lilac, Lt Gray, May Green, Mocha Brown, Brown, Warm Gray 6, Blossom Pink, Pale Orange, Mid Brown, Gray.
Next we can die cut the image using the brand-new Ai Decorative Journal Page Set 1 (5768). This set includes some beautiful page dies as well as the label die we will be using today and many other wonderful journal dies!
Now we can create three panels for our card using the Ai Easter Paper Pack (5742) and the Ai Valentine Paper Pack (5741). We will use some pretty checkered papers in pastel colors and layer these papers onto some coordinating solid papers.
For the lettering on the card we will be using the Ai Journal Letter Set (5562). Let’s grab the letters we need to create the “Home Sweet Home” sentiments. I will give you a few tips and tricks for lining up your letters!
Let’s go ahead and layer the card with all of our elements and add some iridescent stars for a bit of sparkle!
For a finishing touch we will add a simple bow from the Ai Fairy Cubbies Set (5345)!
