Unboxing NEW Spellbinders Scout & Making a Card!

I’ve got a wonderful brand-new tool to show you today! We will be unboxing the brand-new Spellbinders Platinum Scout Die Cutting Machine! Once we have taken a look at this little wonder, we will be using the 3D Embossing Folder and Floral Die Set that come with this machine to create an elegant card!

Next, let’s get started by creating a card using these fun new products! We will be using the Vicki Boutin Cosmic Watercolor Sets to create a beautiful shimmery background. We will use a simple watercolor technique that anyone can do! We will also add some of these same colors to a scrap piece of cardstock so that we can die cut some leaves and flowers.

Let’s use our new Scout to emboss this pretty 3D Embossing Folder and to do our die cutting (all included with the machine). You will see how easy it is to use this adorable little machine. It comes with the same Universal Plate System that we use with the Platinum 6 Die Cutting Machine. It works exactly the same way so there is no learning curve. We can add some additional color to the flowers, do a bit of sculpting and add a pretty gold center to each of these.

Off camera I used my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System to foil a gold “Congratulations” sentiment using the Spellbinders – Essentials Glimmer Sentiments.

We can quickly assemble this elegant slimline card! As a finishing touch we can sprinkle a few metallic circle centers to the embossed flower as well. This will just bring everything together!
