It’s the most wonderful time of the year! It’s STAMPtember time! I can’t wait to show you the most adorable stamp set that is the collaboration between Simon Says Stamp and Art Impressions. This set is called the “Sweet Bday” set and it will definitely make you both happy and hungry at the same time!

Keep in mind that this set is a limited-edition exclusive collaboration set and will only be available for a limited time or until it is sold out … so if you love it don’t wait to get yours!

These adorable little ladies are enjoying a massive stack of donuts and some coffee or a latte. There is also a separate stack of donuts with a birthday candle and several coordinating sentiments! We will be altering and personalizing these donuts a little bit in order to accommodate the pocket card that we will be creating today.

Let’s get started by stamping and coloring all of our images. All of the coloring will be done using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Flesh Colour, Sugared Almond Pink, Peach Pink, Lt Violet, Purple, Lt Blue, Persian Blue, Lt Green, Deep Green, Yellow, Orange, Beige, Mid Brown, Lt Gray, Warm Gray 6.

Once the coloring is done, we can add some fun little details using our gel pens in white, pink, purple, green, and blue. This is a great way to personalize your images!

Next, we can cut out the images using some detail scissors. I’ll show you how you can easily adjust the size of the donut stack to fit this pocket card design.

Now we can create our criss-cross pocket card base … and I will give you the exact measurements and instructions on the assembly of this pocket and layers in today’s video. For the layering papers we will be using the Ai Mini Birthday Paper Pack (5873). This double-sided paper will work nicely and coordinate perfectly with our green card base.

Next, we can create an insert for our pocket using that same paper pack and we will be adding a cute little tab to the top of this insert using the Ai Journal Rectangle Frames (5591).

Now we will stamp our sentiment onto the tab …. and I was so happy that it fit perfectly … and it says, “Have a Sweet Day!”. For the inside of the pocket, we will stamp another sentiment from this same set that says “Frappe’ Birthday!”.

For a finishing touch and a bit of sparkle, let’s add some sparkly gems!

This little pocket design is great for adding a gift card (to the donut shop…lol), photo, money or anything you like!
