Fun Bridge Card w/ Lawn Fawn Sweet Strawberry Set!

We are going to have some great fun today creating a “bridge” card! Don’t worry it is super simple, and I will give you all of the instructions and dimensions in today’s video!

Let’s begin by stamping, stenciling and die cutting the chocolate covered strawberries from the brand-new Lawn Fawn Sweet Strawberry sets. The coloring will be very simple using the coordinating stencil! We will use some pretty Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks and a small blending brush for the coloring.

Next, we will grab the brand-new Lawn Fawn Layered Hearts Background Stencil Set. This can be used in a variety of ways. We will only be using part 1 and part 2 but I will show you the results is you were to use all three of the layers. Once the stenciling is done we add some ink blending around the edges in the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in Spun Sugar and Festive Berries. We will also add a pretty spattering of the Tim Holtz Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink on this panel, and we will also spatter the panel with the Tim Holtz Distress Spritz in the Lumberjack Plaid. This will give the panel a nice shimmer and tie all of our colors together nicely!

Now we can create our card base and panels for the card. Again, I will give you all of the dimensions and instructions for this in the video!

To create the “bridge” for this card we will use the pretty Lawn Fawn Doily Hearts Die. We will die cut this twice…once for the inside of the card and one for the outside. Let’s add a bit of ink around the edges of the doily to frame it a bit better.

Let’s assemble the card and layers and before we add the strawberries, we can give them a glossy finish with some glaze and also add some glitter for a bit of sparkle.

Next, we will create two sentiments strips using the same stamp set and stamp them onto some black cardstock. We will emboss these with some white ink and white embossing powder.

We can attach the strawberries and sentiments strips with some 3D Foam Squares. Let’s also add a pretty bow in the Lawn Fawn Hemp Twine in Dusty Rose. We will add a cute little heart to the center of the bow!

To finish off the card, we will add a circle and sentiment to the inside of the card. I will show you an easy way to line this up perfectly in your card so that it doesn’t show at all when the card is closed!
