Tim Holtz Mixed Media Santa Postage Card!

Hello and Welcome!

Please join me today in creating a vintage mixed media Christmas card using lots of products from the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Collections!

We will be using the wonderful “Santa Visit” Stamp Set as our focal image and we will be coloring it using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Flesh Colour, Blossom Pink, Deep Red, Ice Blue, Dull Blue, Ever Green, Beige, Mid Brown, Lt Gray, Dk Gray.

We will die cut this image with the Scrapbook.com Nested Stitched Stamps Dies and after the coloring is complete we will add some ink around the edges with the TH Distress Oxide Inks in Antique Linen and Walnut Stain.

We can add a cute little cancellation stamp in the corner using the TH Stampers Anonymous Stamp/Stencil Set #41. This set has a stencil and several postal related stamps!

Let’s create a background panel for this postage stamp using those same inks and adding some TH Distress Spritz in Rustic Wilderness and Walnut Stain. This will leave a nice spattering that has a beautiful shimmer!

We will also add some stamping the this background and then some TH Texture Paste using the TH Stampers Anonymous Mini Layering Stencils – Set 62.

Next, we can die cut a pretty vintage Sizzix Thinlits – Crochet border to place just under the postage stamp design. Let’s also add a pretty poinsettia and leaves using the TH Sizzix Thinlits – Funky Nordic die set.

We will assemble the card using some cool greens from the TH idea-ology Kraft-stock for added layering.

And finally, let’s add a few sparkly gems for a bit more interest and dimension!
