Today we will be creating a pretty scene using the brand-new Ai Storybook Template Die Set (6121) and Ai Thinking of Home – Storybook Set (6116). You will need the box die set to create this 3D diorama design…this is sold separately. Then you can purchase the add-on stamp scene that you like the best!

The ornament box can be used as a 3D diorama design like we will be creating today however it can also be used to create a shaker box design! All of the dies are included to create the box and the layers needed for the inside of the design. There is also a tab die that can be used to hang this fun ornament and there is a small tag die as well.

Let’s get started by stamping, coloring and die-cutting all of the little pieces in this tranquil scene. For the coloring we will be using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Peach Pink, Lt Pink, English Lavender, Lt Violet, Yellow, Orange, Haze Blue, L Blue, Smoky Teal, Turquoise Green, May Green, Green, Beige, Mid Brown, Gray Brown, Lt Gray.

You will notice there is a little curved tab on each of these pieces once they are die-cut. These will fit perfectly into our diorama design.

At this point I will direct you to the video so that we can go through the entire process step-by-step and this will allow you to follow along if you wish and pause if you need more time.

To finish the project, let’s add some velvet ribbon for hanging the ornament, a metal plaque that says, “Just remember a beautiful thing is never perfect”, and a few pretty pink hearts! I’ll show you how to add some color to your metal plaques using the Tim Holtz Distress Crayons!

Creating a Party Favor/Gift Card Holder using the Ai Box Village Set!

Today we will be using the brand-new Art Impressions Box Village Template Die Set (6114) to create a fun Party Favor/Gift Card Holder! This project would be a great Valentine’s gift or housewarming gift.

We will die cut with all of the dies needed to create the village box and then I will show you how to create a box insert to house your candies and gift card … or anything else you might want to put in here. Maybe a card or a small gift! I will give you all of the dimensions in the video so that your box insert will fit snuggly in the bottom of the house and I will also show you how to make it easy to slide this in and out of the house!

For decorative papers, we will be using the Ai Valentine’s Paper Pack (5741). For some added interest to the front door, we will use the tiny heart wreath from the Ai Front Porch Valentine’s Set (5493) and add a cute little twine bow!

Let’s also add a sentiment behind the front door using the Ai Front Porch Set (5512) and it will say “Home Sweet Home”… but again you could substitute this with any sentiment that suits the occasion.

To create some sparkle lets add a few pale pink gems along the roof line and some red hearts to each of the windows.

For my little box insert, I used some paper shreds in pink, added some candies, and a gift card!

How to Create a Six Panel Accordion Card!

I thought it would be fun to create a Six Panel Accordion Fold Card with some crows, hay bales, scarecrows, pumpkins and apples. This can be given as a card or gift! I’m going to place mine on a shelf alongside some of my ceramic pumpkin collection for a festive fall look!

We will be mixing several stamp sets today including the Ai Harvest Together Set (5507), Ai Harvest Sentiments Set (5600), Ai Harvest Pumpkin Set (5595), and the Ai Harvest Set (5598).

So, let’s first stamp, color, fussy cut and die cut all of our images. I did all of the coloring off camera for this project because I wanted to focus on the creation and assembly of the accordion fold design. However, I have listed all of the colors that I used for your reference as follows: Blender, Flesh Colour, Pale Orange, Pink Haze, Orange, Scarlett Red, Red, Deep Red, Yellow, Lt Green, Deep Green, Beige, Ochre, Brown, Mid Brown, Brick Beige, Lt Gray, Gray, Smoky Teal.

Next, let’s die cut these wonderful, large letters from the brand-new Ai Large Letter Dies (5910). There is also a coordinating Ai Numbers Dies (5911) available, and I will link that below for you as well. We will die cut the letters twice and stack a few together for a bit of substance. Now we can ink the edges of our letters and spatter them with some brown ink.

Now we can create the accordion fold card base, and we will be using the brand-new Ai Mini Rectangle Frame Die Set (5901). This was designed to create a cute frame, but we are going to use the large frame die to create three panels for our card. This will die cut the panels with a tab and score lines. So now we can cut away one of the tabs on the third panel and then assemble these three panels together. Which we will then fold in a back-and-forth pattern or fan fold design. This makes it so easy!!!

Next, we can stamp some cute little sprigs on both sides and spatter with brown ink and for some shine we will also spatter on the new Tim Holtz Sprits in Fossilized Amber. We will also ink up the edges of the accordion card base on both sides.

For our next step, let’s grab some woodgrain paper from the Ai Christmas S2 Paper Pack and die cut three rectangles using that same Mini Rectangle Frame Set.. We can attach these 6 panels to each section of the card.

Now for the fun…assembling all of these letters and cute little elements onto our card. Just keep in mind that you may only want to pop up items on the front and back of the card so that it doesn’t get too bulky when you close the card.

Finally, let’s wrap a bit of twine around this project and tie a pretty bow and also add a few sparkly gems!

Combining Stamp Sets – Create a Cute Porch Scene!

Today I thought it would be fun to grab a bunch of stamp sets (mostly from the Front Porch Series) to create a sweet little front porch scene! This is a fun way to use your stamps in a fun, new and unique way!

Let’s get started by stamping and coloring all of our images from several different sets including Ai Front Porch Set (5512), Ai Front Porch Garden Set (5486), Ai Front Porch Farmhouse Set (5490), Ai WC Rocking Chair Set (5360), and the Ai Dwelling Animal Set (5991). All of the coloring was done using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Lemon Yellow, Yellow, Bright Yellow, Sugared Almond Pink, Peach Pink, Lilac, Violet, Lt Gray, Gray, May Green, Green, Beige, Mustard, Ice Blue, Lt Blue. Now we can die-cut the images using the coordinating dies and for the little kitten we will cut that out using our detail scissors.

We will also die-cut a pretty arched window using the Ai Mini Journal Template Set (5718) and place some yellow and white polka dot paper inside the window using the Ai Easter Bunny Paper Pack (6036). We will also use this same paper pack to die-cut the blue and white striped paper for the background. Let’s go ahead and create the A2 size white card base and attach the striped paper.

Now let’s also die-cut the pretty scallop rectangle for our scene using the Ai Decorative Belly Bands Set (5804). We will cut a piece of woodgrain paper for the inside of the rectangle using the Ai Winter Woodland Paper Pack (5963).

Let’s stamp the front porch tiles only onto this woodgrain paper using the Post-it Labeling and Cover-up Tape to mask off the top part of the stamp. We can quickly color the porch!

Now we will start adding all of the items to the porch by gluing some flat and popping up some of the others. We will also pop up this porch scene onto the front of the card…but first we need to stamp the sentiment on a little bit of an angle. This sentiment will say “Have a Blessed Day” and will be perfect for this card!

Once everything is attached, we will add a few pretty champagne-colored gems for a bit of sparkle and elegance!

Christmas Party Favor Boxes!

Let’s have some fun today creating one of my favorite projects which is to create party favor boxes! We will be using the Ai Mini Journal Box Dies (5805) to create these festive little boxes. This die set was designed to create a box for your mini journals and that set is the Ai Mini Journal Template Dies (5718). However, I thought it would be fun to use it as a favor box today!

I previously used this same die set to create and Elegant Party Favor Box using Texture Paste and Stenciling that I will link below for you if you would like to take a look at that video!

Let’s go ahead and die cut the boxes using some 100lb Kraft Cardstock. We can also die cut the pretty borders using the two different border dies that are included in the set. We will die cut the borders and an insert for the inside of the box from some pretty red paper from the Ai Valentins Paper Pack (5741). We will also cut the label die from the top of the box to create a little window. We can glue on the borders and panel for the bottom of the box and then cut a piece of acetate for the window opening and glue this in place as well.

Let’s set those aside to dry while we stamp, color, and die cut some candy canes and holly w/ berries from the Ai Christmas Mice Set (5459). We will color in the images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, May Green, Dark Green, Deep Red Grape, Geranium Red, Lt Gray.

We can assemble the boxes using some 1/4″ double-sided tape. Once they were assembled, I thought they needed a little bit of spattering in some white ink for a snowy look! You may want to do this before you assemble the box.

Now we can add the candy canes and holly with some 3D Foam Squares.

Let’s go back to that same paper pack and cut some paper strips to cover our chocolates. We can quickly wrap the candies and add a bit of green/white twine and tie a bow.

In today’s video we will be creating a super fun mixed media Christmas decorative project using tons of products from Tim Holtz including stamps, dies, inks, spritz, stickers, charms, papers, paste, glitter and so much more!

The focal image for our project will be the typewriter and large numbers from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Curiosity Shop stamp set. We will also be using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlits Papercut Cafe’ set for the cute little Christmas mug and the Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlits Vault Festive Wreath set for the poinsettia and sprigs!

Since there are so many steps involved in this project, I am going to direct you to the video where I will show you step-by-step exactly what I did to create this fun home decor item!

Matchbook Gnome Home w/ Matching Envelope!

Oh, happy day!!! I’ve got another brand-new Matchbook to add to your collection and to show you today! We will be using the adorable little Matchbook Gnome Home Set (5908). This is one of four new Matchbook sets that were part of the brand-new release! They include this set as well as the MB Music Set and MB Golf Set and MB Bait and Tackle Set. I recently did a video using the golf set and I will link it here for you:

Let’s go ahead and stamp and color all of the images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Tea Rose, Pink Flamingo, Yellow, Orange, Scarlet Red, Blossom Pink, Aquamarine Blue, Smoky Teal, Ochre, Mid Green, Olive Green, Lt Gray, Platinum Brown, Warm Gray 6, Beige, Mid Brown.

Once these are colored, we can use the coordinating dies included in the set to cut these out. The die cutting will give us the score lines that we will need to press out with a bone folder.

Next, we can die cut the Ai Matchbook Template Die Set (5317) and the Ai Matchbook Envelope Die Set (5318) using the Ai Gnome Paper Pack (5832). Let’s also die cut the floor for our Gnome Home using the woodgrain paper from that same set.

Now let’s do the assembly and I will give you some tips and tricks for assembling this cute little wonder!

We can place the Matchbook into the envelope, to be sure we have the correct size, and then glue the tabs on the envelope!

We will add a little coordinating mushroom to the front of the envelope using a fun paper piecing technique, but you could add anything you like to the envelope such as a tag, ribbon, charms, sequins or beads. Just have fun and make it your own!

Let’s create a mixed media clipboard today using several wonderful products from Tim Holtz!

The main focal image for today’s project will be the vintage typewriter from the brand-new Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous – Curiosity Shop Stamp Set. I absolutely love this new stamp set which includes extra-large numbers, a four-leaf clover, pointing fingers, light bulbs, top hats, and sentiments!

We will add several layers of interest with some Tim Holtz Ephemera, Papers, Stickers, Pearls, Metal, Mica Spray and so much more!

To highlight the typewriter theme we will also use the Tim Holtz Sizzix 3D Texture Fades – Typewriter Embossing Folder and the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous – Documented Stamp Set.

There are just so many layers and elements that I will just refer you to the video for all of the details and instructions. This video is a little bit longer than my usual videos but again there are just so many fun details and I wanted to show you all of them!

Today we will be creating a fun fairy’s card using some letter dies to create our sentiment! Using your letter dies is an easy way to personalize your cards and create your own custom sentiments. You can also mix and match your lettering fonts for even more fun and interest!

Let’s begin by stamping and coloring the adorable brand-new Ai Fairy Houses Set (5790). This set includes two cute little fairy houses. We will be using just one of them today but either one would work well on this card! We also need to stamp, color, and die cut the little fairies which are from the Ai Fairy Cubbies Set (5345).

All of the coloring will be done using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Blue Green, Turquoise Mint, Lt Pink, Sugared Almond Pink, Pink Flamingo, Pale Rose, Flesh Colour, Yellow, Beige, Shadow Pink, Haze Blue, Aquamarine Blue, Lilac, Lt Gray, May Green, Mocha Brown, Brown, Warm Gray 6, Blossom Pink, Pale Orange, Mid Brown, Gray.

Next we can die cut the image using the brand-new Ai Decorative Journal Page Set 1 (5768). This set includes some beautiful page dies as well as the label die we will be using today and many other wonderful journal dies!

Now we can create three panels for our card using the Ai Easter Paper Pack (5742) and the Ai Valentine Paper Pack (5741). We will use some pretty checkered papers in pastel colors and layer these papers onto some coordinating solid papers.

For the lettering on the card we will be using the Ai Journal Letter Set (5562). Let’s grab the letters we need to create the “Home Sweet Home” sentiments. I will give you a few tips and tricks for lining up your letters!

Let’s go ahead and layer the card with all of our elements and add some iridescent stars for a bit of sparkle!

For a finishing touch we will add a simple bow from the Ai Fairy Cubbies Set (5345)!

Clean & Simple Vellum Overlay Cards using the Ai Scenic Foundations (PART 3 of 3)

Today is Part 3 of our Scenic Foundations series and we will be creating a set of note cards by stenciling a pretty sunburst background with a vellum overlay by using the remaining four sets from the Summer of 2023 release (SF Wooden Cabin, SF Stone Bridge, SF Cottage Creek, SF Picket Fence)! These are clean and simple cards that are very easy to mass produce!

In Part 1, we used the SF Beach Cabin Set (5749) to create a beautiful background using some masking tape and the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks. This is a simple and easy way to set the scene for our Scenic Foundations stamps.

Masking An Easy Background using the Ai Scenic Foundations (PART 1 OF 3)

In Part 2, we will be creating a mixed media tag card using the SF Village Set (5746) and a water coloring technique using the Tim Holtz Mini Ink Pads.

To set the scene for today’s cards we will be using the Lawn Fawn Sunray Background Stencil on each of the cards using some the Hero Arts Reactive Ink Pads in Fruit Punch, Lemon Drops, and Creamsicle and the Hero Arts Blending Brushes.

Next we can die cut a rectangular frame for each of the cards using the Ai Nested Rectangle Dies (5724). We will place one smaller rectangle inside the larger one to create the frames. We will use the larger rectangle die to cut the vellum paper that we will then place behind each of the frames!

Let’s go ahead and stamp each of our four Scenic Foundations stamps onto the vellum rectangles using the Staz-on Jet Black Ink Pad.

Now we can attach the vellum to the frames and pop these up using some foam strips. Now when you look through the vellum you will see a softer version of the sunray background and around the edges you will see the more vibrant pattern. I just love how this looks!

Using the Ai Birthday Sentiments Set (5735) or the Ai Friend Sentiments Set (5734) we can add a simple sentiment to each of the note cards using the Ai Journal Template Dies (5543) banner die.

As a finishing touch let’s add some Ombre’ Glitter Drops from the Pinkfresh Studio Sparkle and Shine collection!
