Today let’s create the brand-new Exclusive Ai/SSS matchbook using the Christmas Town Matchbook Set. This fun new set includes all some little town houses, a few trees, an adorable snowman, and a Christmas tree! This set is an exclusive set created by Art Impressions for Simon Says Stamp and will only be available for a limited time or until they are sold out. I have done several videos using the wonderful matchbooks and I will link a few of the videos that I had previously done down below for you if you would like to take a closer look at them!

Keep in mind that you will need the Ai Matchbook Template Die Set (5317) and the Ai Matchbook Envelope Die Set (5318) to create the card base and coordinating envelope for any of the matchbooks!

To create these two items, we will be using the Ai Winter Wonderland Paper Pack (5963). This double-sided paper will give us some pretty light-colored background with snowflakes for the outside and a darker blue background with snowflakes for the inside. For the envelope we will grab another double-side paper that will have some of those same darker blue snowflake patterns.

Let’s go ahead and stamp and color all of our little images. We will be coloring all of our images today using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Pale Rose, Dk Blossom Pink, Ice Blue, Aquamarine Blue, Ever Green, Green Gray, Yellow, Mustard, Lt Gray, Cool Gray 6, Beige, Mid Brown, Blue Gray, Plum Mist, Purplish Gray. We will stamp and color some additional images for the front of our envelope.

Once we have finished coloring all of our images let’s add a snowy look to these items using the Dr. Ph. Martin’s Bleed Proof White Ink using a small paint brush. We will also add some sparkle with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen.

We will die cut these images with the coordinating dies which will not only die cut the images but score them, so we know exactly where to make our folds.

Let’s go ahead and assemble the matchbook and coordinating envelope and I will show you exactly how to assemble this matchbook in the video and give you some tips and tricks for easy assembly! Don’t forget to decorate the envelope with that cute little snowman and a few trees!

As a fun finishing touch, we can add some sparkly, iridescent snowflake sequins. This will add some interest without too much additional bulk to the inside of the matchbook and some sparkle to the envelope as well.
