Woodland Horse Scene – Easel Card!

Let’s create this “easel” card today using the brand-new Ai Woodland Horse Scene (6087) stamp! This set is part of the new Ai Woodland Series Stamp Sets! There are six new sets in this series! Let’s get started by stamping and coloring the images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Shadow Pink, Deep Red, Ice Blue, Smoky Teal, Ever Green, Orange, Mustard, Brick Beige, Mid Brown, Lt Gray, Gray.

Next, we can die cut some scalloped circle layers using the Ai Scalloped Circle Dies (6045) and layer these together. We will use some 3D Foam Squares to pop-up the scene onto the open scalloped circle.

Now let’s build the “easel” card base (which I will show you in today’s video) and add some pretty patterned paper layers using the Ai Winter Woodland PP (5963).

We can add the scene to the card by adding glue to only the lower half of the scalloped circle and this will allow the card to fold and stand up which creates the “easel” for our card.

We will add a sentiment to the inside of the card using the Ai Christmas Slimline Set (5461) and it will say “There’s snowbuddy like you!”. I love this sentiment because it can be used for a holiday, birthday, friendship or even a Valentine’s card! We will use those same circle dies to layer up the sentiment and then we will pop this up as well thereby creating the “easel” design.

Let’s add a few sparkly gems to tie everything together!
