Lawn Fawn Berry Special – Z Fold Card!

Let’s have some fun today creating a Z-Fold card using lots and lots of different products from Lawn Fawn! If you have never made one of these before, you will love this easy and interactive card!

We can begin by creating the card base and the grassy borders using the LF Large Slimline w/ Sliders Dies and the LF Hillside Borders Dies. We will cut the card base layer from some 65lb White Cardstock and the panel for the grassy borders out of some 100lb LF Cilantro Cardstock.

Next, we will score these two panes at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″. Now we can fold the card base and cut the green panel in half to create two grassy borders. Let’s also apply a bit of LF Noble Fir Ink to the grassy borders for some added shadowing and shading!

Let’s also add some inks to the card base to create a pretty sky background using the LF Inks in Lobster, Fake Tan, and Sunflower. We can also spatter this with some water for added texture and interest.

Next, I’ll refer you to the video for the folding of the card base and the grassy borders. There is a little trick to the folding which will be easily explained and shown in the video. Once the panels are folded, we can assemble the Z-Fold card base.

Next, we can stamp our images using the LF Berry Special Stamps and color them using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Lt Pink, Red, Wine Red, Yellow, Bright Yellow, Haze Blue, Dk Agate, Blue Gray, Cool Gray 6, Beige Mid Brown, May Green, Green. Let’s also die cut these using the coordinating dies.

Now we can assemble all of these cute little mice, strawberries and bees onto our card!

Let’s add a few sentiments by stamping onto some LF Cardstock in Black Licorice. We can emboss these with some detail white embossing powder and die cut them using a couple of banner dies from the LF Flippin’ Awesome Dies. We will attach one to the front of the card and the other one on the back of the card while also adding a bit of plaid paper from the LF Petite Paper Pack 6″x6″ in Fruit Salad.

For a finishing touch let’s add the word “buzzz” next to each of the little bees!
