Let’s create a pretty pastel slimline card today! We will be using several Lawn Fawn products, some pretty papers and dies from Art Impressions, and a fun polka dot embossing folder from Scrapbook.com.
To begin, we will die cut two slimline panels using the Ai Slimline Die Set (5463) and the Ai Baby Girl Cover PP (6059). These beautiful pastel pattern papers will be perfect for this card and we can easily combine the Ai Baby Girl 6×6 PP so that everything will coordinate nicely.
For the white panel, we will use a 3D Polka Dot embossing folder from Scrapbook.com. This will give us a lot of dimension and interest.
We can assemble the two panels together and then die cut the party balloons using the LF Balloon Bunch Die Set. Using some rose-colored sparkle paper from Lawn Fawn we will die cut the outline of the balloons. We will select some more patterned papers to insert into the balloon in pink, lavender, and blue.
Next, we will die cut the “Let’s Celebrate” sentiment from pattern paper and layer it up with some additional white cardstock and then add some more of that sparkle paper and offset it a little bit. This will give a little shadow of glitter from behind the sentiment.
Assemble the balloons and sentiment and add some pretty sparkly sequins!
Let’s quickly decorate the inside of the card using a pink and white gingham paper. And using the left-over sparkle balloon from the balloon outline that we cut out earlier we will attach it to the inside of the card, just over top of the sentiment. Add a string to the balloon using a pretty purple gel pen.
We will also stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card using the LF Valentine Mice Set. This will say “Sending Love on this very special day”.
