Tim Holtz Love Notes Pillow Box!

Today we will be creating an easy, fun distressed Valentine’s Day Pillow Box using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlits – Vault Pillow Box and Bag Set.

To add some added interest to the box we will using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Quilted 3-D Texture Fades Embossing Folder. Wait until you see how this wonderful, quilted pattern comes to life when we add some distress ink over the top in Vintage Photo. We will also add some subtle shimmer using the Tim Holtz Distress Spritz in Lumberjack Plaid.

Next, let’s go to the Tim Holtz – Sizzix Thinlits – Sidekick Side-Order – Love Notes Die Set and create the wonderful candy box. We will use some Tim Holtz Kraft-Stock idea-ology in a warm reddish color to create the box.

Let’s also add a little tiny bit of sparkle using the Tim Holtz Kraft-Stock Sparkle Plaid Cardstock. We will wrap this around the box and add the candy box on top.

Next, we will grab some sentiments from the Tim Holtz idea-ology Metallic Stickers. There are so many to choose from in black with gold lettering, but the booklet also includes white with gold lettering if you prefer!

We will also use the cute little embossing folder that comes with the Love Notes Die Set. This will emboss a panel of hearts onto some distress cardstock and create a notecard for the inside of the box. Here we can write a little note and add a few more coordinating sentiment stickers.

I had such fun filling this wonderful box with a notecard, candy, a gift card and some gold shreds but you can fill yours with whatever you like!
