Art Impressions Window to the World – “Swing” Card!

Happy Wednesday Ai Fans!!!

In todays video I will be showing you an adorable die set from the Windows to the World Collection! This collection is part of a series which will allow you to create a unique and beautiful shadowbox window on the inside of your card. We will be using the Swing Window Set (5452) which was part of the wonderful Fall 2021 release. There is a little girl on a swing and her faithful friend…a cute little dog! The set does include the die for this little pup!

I will show you how to create the shadowbox window on this card…but do keep in mind that you do need the Shadowbox Window Die Set (5408) in order to create the shadowbox feature.

As I mentioned in the video, if you love this shadowbox design, then you may want to check out this video as well:

Lawn Fawn Penguin Valentine Party – Z Fold Card

Hello and Welcome!!!

In todays video we will be creating a fun and unique Z Fold Card! I wanted to be able to create this card by using the Lawn Fawn Large Slimline Die as the card base so that I could have that beautiful stitched border all the way around the card. By doing this we will end up with a smaller sized card…but don’t worry…I will show you how to quickly and easily create this card and also how to make a pretty vellum envelope that will perfectly fit this smaller size card. This Z Fold design will allow us to create a super fun pop-up style card!!!

To set the scene, we will be using several images from the LF Penguin Party Sets and the LF Scent With Love Sets! We will be coloring in the images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens which are listed below.

We will also be using the wonderful LF Lots of Hearts Stencil Set to create a whimsical pink sky!

This card was inspired by the current Lawn Fawn Blog Challenge #116 – Let’s Celebrate – which is picture below:

Tim Holtz 3D Snowflake Gift Card Holder

Hello and Welcome!

In todays video we will be creating some fun dimensional gift card holders! To do this, we will be using the Tim Holtz Stitched Slots Die, which is really meant to be used on your scrapbook or journaling pages. It is a great way to display a collection of tickets, photos or other ephemera. I must admit that I have had this die in my collection for quite some time and have never used it. So every now and again I like to look through my dies and use a die set that I have never used before. As I was looking at this set I thought it would be perfect for some holiday gift card holders! I will show you how to create a simple pocket for your slot die!

The beautiful snowflake is a Tim Holtz 3D Impresslits Embossing Folder. This folder not only embosses the image but also die cuts it at the same time! We will be adding some beautiful foiling to the snowflakes with just a glue pen and some Deco Foil. This is a great technique for those of you who don’t have a foiling machine and for those who just want to do some foiling in a specific area. No heat is required for this foiling technique!

We will also be doing some fun stenciling using the Tim Holtz Layering Stencils. These stencils will allow us to use two different colors for our stripes and dots. These are lots of fun to use!!!

We will add a handle for our gift card pocket using some pretty tinsel! Let’s add a few sparkly gems to finish off this project!

If you really love these 3D Impresslits then you may want to check out the videos listed and linked below!

Tim Holtz 3D Cathedral Window Ornament

Hello and Welcome!

In todays video we will be creating an elegant 3D Cathedral Window Ornament! We will be using the Tim Holtz Sizzix BIGZ Cathedral Window steel rule die! All of these elements will come from a collection of Tim Holtz Die Sets which are listed and linked below.

We will add a snowy texture using some texture paste and some icicles to give it an even more wintery look! We will add a lovely wreath, a cute sentiment, velvet ribbon and a jingle bell for added interest and dimension!

This could easily be made into a shaker ornament if you prefer or just simply be attached to a card. Just have fun with this window by adding whatever you like to your little scene!

Elegant Sizzix 3D Poinsettia Card

Hello and Welcome!

In todays video we will create this elegant card with a very dimensional poinsettia! This beautiful flower is from the Sizzix 3D Impresslits Embossing Folder! This embossing folder not only embosses the flower but also die cuts it at the same time! And….the embossing is extremely dimensional and detailed!

We will die cut this poinsettia from a pretty pink Metallic Confections Kraft-Stock from the Tim Holtz idea-ology collection. We will also emboss the card itself using the Spellbinders Detailed “Forevergreen” Embossing Folder. The beautiful pine branches on this folder will perfectly set the scene for this holiday card.

To pull this card together, we will be using the DCWV 6×6 Paper Pack in Frosted Peppermint. This paper pack is filled with lovely papers in soft pinks and reds and also includes some beautiful metallic papers as well.

We will add a large elegant sentiment and some greenery on the front and inside of the card using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlits Merry and Bright Die Set.

For a finishing touch, we will add some sparkly gems from the Pinkfresh Studios Essentials Jewel Mix!

Hello and Welcome!!!

I’ve got a really fun Flip-Flop winter card to show you in todays video!
