Today let’s create two fun interactive Flop-Cards using the new Lawn Fawn Build-a-drink Root Beer Add-on Dies. This fun die set is a wonderful addition to the “Build-a-drink” series. The original sets included the LF Build-a-drink and the LF Build-a-drink Cocktail Add-on. Keep in mind that these sets can all be mixed and matched to create some wonderful projects! I have done videos on both of these original sets which I will link here for you:

In today’s video I will show you exactly how to cut and score your cardstock to create this fun interactive card design. Once we have created the card base, we can add some fun stenciling using the LF Paint Spatter Background Stencil. This will make it look like the root beer and beer have splashed across our cards.
Next, let’s grab these fun new dies and die cut them from some white smooth cardstock and then we can color them using a blending brush and a variety of inks. For the liquid we can splatter these with a bit of water to create the look of bubbles!
With a few layers of coordinating cardstock, we can layer some plaids and solids and a pretty woodgrain pattern to set the scene for the cards.
For the sentiments, we can use the LF Berry Special Stamp Set for the “Have a Happy Birthday” and let’s use an alphabet die set to die cut the letters for the word “beer-y” out of some coordinating cardstock.
For a finishing touch we can add a few clear gems to enhance that bubbly look!
These cards are so quick and easy to make that you will want to create several of them and keep them in your stash for future birthdays!
