Happy Father’s Day Tool Bag Card!

Let’s create this fun masculine Father’s Day Tool Bag! We will be using the Ai Tool Bag & Die Set (5503) which includes the tool bag and all of the tools you will need to fill this bag.

Today’s card was inspired by the current Ai “We “heart” Dads” Challenge which is to honor all of the great Father’s and the wonderful love, guidance, friendship, and support they give us every day!

After stamping all of the images, we will color them using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Lt Gray, Gray, Beige, Lt Brown, Brown, Mid Brown, Olive Green, Moss Green. Once the coloring is done, we will use the coordinating dies and die-cut all of the pieces. The fun part is that the die creates some little slits in the pockets so that we can easily tuck the tools into the bag!

For the wood grain background, we will use the Ai Christmas S2 Paper Pack (5812). We will also use the backside of this paper for the Happy Father’s Day sentiment. The sentiment die is from the Father’s Day Die Set (5927). Let’s also add a strip of the striped paper using the Ai Fall S2 Paper Pack (5973). This striped paper will tie all of the colors together and give our little tool bag a place to sit!

Let’s create the card base from some Kraft cardstock, layer the card, and add the sentiment. Then we can assemble the bag with all of the tools. We will pop this up onto the front of the card.

As a finishing touch we will add some little metal screws!

I think any guy would love to receive a card like this one! However, keep in mind, this doesn’t have to be a masculine card, you could easily create a pretty pink or purple tool bag for your favorite handy female friends as well!
