Art Impressions Happy Anniversary Easel Card w/ Brayering Technique

Hello and Welcome!!!

I have a super special anniversary card to show you today! For our main focal point we will be using the adorable couple from the Ai Love Birds Stamps (AiCS27) Set. I just love this couple sitting on a park bench…it is just the sweetest image!

I will show you how to quickly and easily create a fun heart shaped easel card! This takes a simple anniversary card to a whole new level and will make our card more of a keepsake for displaying on a tabletop!

To set the scene for our couple, we will be brayering a beautiful background using an ombre’ ink pad. I will show you lots of tips and tricks for getting a perfect brayered background. I’ll also show you how to create this rainy look using and image from the Ai Bible Foliage Set 2 (5418). This little dotted image might be something that you might overlook….but you will see how much fun this image can be!

We will pop-up a sentiment on the inside of the card which is also from the Ai Love Birds Set and this will create the easel mechanism for our card.

As a final step, we will add some pretty sparkly gems to the front of the card!

For the coloring today I used the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens as listed here: Blender, Lt Gray, Gray Brown, Mid Brown, Black, Beige, Flesh Color, Lt Blue, Turquoise Green, Dull Blue, Deep Violet

Art Impressions Floral Wreath Birthday Card w/ Easy Watercolor Technique

Hello and Welcome!!!

In todays video we will be creating an elegant floral birthday wreath using a combination of images from a few of the beautiful Ai Bible Journaling sets! We will be using the Ai Bible Foliage Set 2 (5418) and the Ai On the Sparrow Set (5170). These sets will give us a wonderful variety of sprigs and flowers to create our floral wreath!

The grapevine wreath will come from the Ai Frameworks Set 1 (5420) which has several images that would work great for creating a floral card or just to frame a special image or sentiment!

We will use some beautiful Rose Gold embossing powder for the wreath and sentiment and this will add a touch of elegance. We will also create a dotted texture to our Blushing Pink layer and this will help to tie everything together!

For inking up our images I will show you a easy and fun watercolor technique. To do this, we will use the Tombow Dual Brush Pens and a mini mister! It is so much fun and the results are just spectacular!

For a finishing touch, we will add some velvet ribbon and some beautiful gems!
