Crafty Gift Card Holder

Let’s combine two stamps sets today to create a fun “Crafty Tool Bag” gift card holder! We will be using the Ai Craft Bag and Die Set (5502) and the Ai Tool Bag and Die Set (5503). I thought the tool bag looked a bit like the craft tote that I bring with me when I am going to a friends house to do some crafting. So let’s fill it with all of the fun elements from the Craft Bag Set including the scissors, pens, ruler, pencils, notebook, etc. When you die cut this little tool bag with your dies…it will cut out all of these openings and pockets so that you have a place to tuck in all of your fun craft supplies!

To create a fun pattern for this bag we will stamp the tool bag onto some pretty lavender floral paper from Lawn Fawn. We will stamp the tool bag image again on some white cardstock and cut out some of the trim work for additional interest.

Next we can stamp and color all of the crafty supplies using the Tombow Twintone Dual Tip Markers in the Brights colors! These bright colors will look great on our little gift card holder! Let’s blend these colors using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Blender Pen….but you could also use a water brush here as well!

We can tuck all of these items into our craft bag! Now let’s create the Gift Card Holder using the Ai Envelope GCH Die Set (5344). This is so quick and easy to assemble!

We can also create a notecard for the inside of the gift card holder and add a few more crafty elements here as well. A few buttons, scissors and a pretty bow will complete this notecard!

And finally…for the front of the gift card holder…we can add a few baubles and a bow!

Your crafty friends will love this….especially if you add a gift card to their favorite craft store!!!

Art Impressions – New Release – Craft Bag Card!

I’ve got another wonderful brand new release to show you today from the Ai Spring 2022 Collection! Today we will create a fun card which would be great to send to all of your crafty friends! They will absolutely love it!!!

For this card, we will be using the brand new Ai Craft Bag Set (5502), which includes the most adorable images to fill up your crafty bag! The images in this set include a craft bag, a ruler, pencils, glue, a notebook, scissors, paint brushes, and much more!

We will start by coloring in our images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Florescent Pink, Pink, Deep Blue, Turquoise Green, Brick Beige, Lt Gray, Black. Since this set includes the coordinating dies, we will be able to easily die cut all of our little images. When you die cut the craft bag it will cut little openings where you can slide in all of your craft supplies! Keep in mind that all of these crafty elements can be used in many other ways!

Then let’s grab the Ai Oval Double Stitched Dies and die cut an oval shape out of the front of the card. Now we can add spatter the rest of the card panel with some pretty pink ink! Then we will use a blending brush to add some color around the oval. We will inset this back into the card and this will help to spotlight our images a bit better.

For the sentiment we will use the Ai WC Sentiment Set (4903) and this will say “Beauty is all around you” which is perfect for this crafty card! Then let’s add a bit more dimension and interest by adding some fun little hearts in a variety of colors!
