Metallic Gilding Polish w/ Spellbinders Embossing Folder, Dies & Sequins!

I thought it would be fun to go back to a product that I haven’t used in a while which is the Creative Expressions Metallic Gilding Polish! These polishes are so beautiful, fun and easy to use. We will be combining these gilding polishes with a gorgeous Spellbinders Oak Forest 3D Embossing Folder, a new set of Spellbinders “Hello Smile” Dies, and some pretty Spellbinders Opalescent Sequins!

I have done a few other videos using this product which I will link for you down below if you would like to check those out.

We will be using the Gilding Polish in a few different ways today. For the first one we will use some kraft cardstock and run it through the die cutting machine with the Oak Forest embossing folder. Then we will add some Metallic Gilding Polish over the top. I’ll talk about some tricks and tips for using this product throughout the video.

For the next card panel, we will begin by inking the kraft cardstock and then running it through the die cutting machine with that same embossing folder. So now we will have lots of color in the background and we can add just a few highlights to the tops of the images.

For the third card panel, we will be using a black cardstock. You will love how these metallics really pop on the black color and then we can add a few highlights to the tops of the images here as well.

For all of the card panels we will use the Metallic Gilding Polish to spatter the background with the coordinating ink colors.

Next, we can die cut the sentiments (Hello and Smile) and for the lettering on the sentiments we will ink some cardstock so that it will match the backgrounds beautifully. This will add that same metallic shimmer to the letters! We can go ahead and die cut these and assemble them with a bit of velvet ribbon and pop them up with some foam squares.

Finally, let’s add some pretty Spellbinders Opalescent Sequins in Aura, Purple and Teal!

Spellbinders Christmas Blooms w/ Embossed Vellum (Hidden Adhesive Technique)!

Today we are going to create a very elegant holiday card by combining some embossed vellum, beautiful blooms, and a pretty bow!

We will be embossing some vellum paper for the front of our card using the gorgeous Spellbinders Embossing Folder – Forevergreen. I’ll show you a couple of tricks for attaching this to your card front without any glues or adhesives showing on your card.

Next we can add a beautiful bow using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlits – Bowtied Colorize. This is so easy and fun to create and would be great on a card front all by itself!

Let’s die cut all of our pretty blooms from the Spellbinders Christmas Blooms Die Set and then we can color them using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Smoky Yellow, Ever Green, Green Gray, Dk Green, Blossom Pink.

We can give our flowers and sprigs a little bit of shaping. Now we can add the bow and florals to our card. We will add a bit of sparkle to some of the sprigs and then add a pretty pearl in the center of each of the flowers!

Spellbinders Autumn Leaf Border w/ Glimmer Hot Foiling

Hello and Welcome!

Today we are going to have some fun with the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System! We will be creating a gatefold birthday card with a pretty velvet belly band. And to add some additional interest, we will add a Tim Holtz metal “word band”.

I’ll show you how we will use the Metallic Gilding Polish to add color to the metal “word band”. Then we will highlight the lettering by using a Distress Crayon!

We will be using the Spellbinders Autumn Leaf Border Glimmer Plate! I’ll show you how quick and easy it is to apply this beautiful foiling to your projects! We will also use the Spellbinders Cannetille Rectangle Die to give this card a unique border and angled edge….which is so elegant!

After we have done the foiling, we will then apply some subtle color to the leaves using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pads in a variety of Fall colors. These work great on colored cardstock!

I know that a lot of us have a hard time creating masculine cards and sympathy cards…and this style would be great for either of those occasions!
