We will be playing with the most adorable little stamp set in today’s video! It’s the Sunny Studio Puddle Jumpers Stamp Set and it includes all of the images that you need to create a fun spring, rainy day birthday card!

Let’s start by stamping all of our images and coloring them using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in the following colors: Blender, Flesh Colour, Tea Rose, Yellow, Orange, Green, May Green, Turquoise Green, Lt Blue, Cobalt Blue, Beige, Lt Gray, Dk Gray, Dk Brown.

Now we can cut these images out using our detail scissors. However, there is a coordinating die set and I will link that below for you. The cutting was a bit time consuming with the scissors. Therefore, I would suggest the coordinating die set if you don’t love cutting these out by hand.

We will cut the scallop frame two times using the Sunny Studio Frilly Frames Lattice Dies. One will remain as die cut and for the other one, we will cut off the scallops. This will allow us the keep the pretty stitched lines around the edges.

Let’s take the one where we cut off the scallops and stamp the Sunny Studio Sprawling Surfaces (the rocks) on the bottom of this panel. Apply a strip of masking tape above this stony border so that we can color the stones. To do this we will use the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks and our Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker.

Now we can place a new mask over the stone border and do the sky. We will be creating rainy sky using some Tim Holtz Mini Distress Inks. We will stamp the raindrop stamps included in the set and emboss these with some clear embossing powder. I’ll show you how to apply the inks directly to the cardstock for this textured sky. It’s a fun direct-to-paper technique that is fun and easy to do!

Let’s add a pretty cloud to the top of this panel using the Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Border Dies. We will stamp a sentiment on this cloud that says, “Waddle You Know?” and we can also stamp the inside of the card, and this will say “It’s your birthday”.

Finally, we will assemble the card using some pretty yellow cardstock for the card base. We can pop up the cloud with some 3D Foam Tape … and don’t forget to add some cute items to the inside of the card!
