Let’s play with the brand-new Tim Holtz 3D Texture Fades “Sparkle” Embossing Folder! We are going to “double” emboss this folder on our card today.

We will start by running the embossing folder through the die cutting machine as we would normally do. Next, we will use the Tim Holtz Embossing Pen and Embossing Glazes to add another layer of embossing. All we need to do is apply some embossing ink (from the embossing pen) to the high spots on the cardstock and then apply some embossing glaze in a variety of bright colors. Heat set this and check out the wonderful dimension, color and shine that you get!

Keep in mind that you could totally change the look of this embossing folder. For example, this would be beautiful with gold, silver and copper for a more elegant look! Have some fun with this!

Let’s ink up the card panel using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers and Chipped Sapphire. Remember to wipe off the excess ink from the embossed areas because the ink just won’t dry on the embossing glaze.

Now we can stamp and color the wine bottle and wine glass and color them using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Wine Red, Deep Red, Yellow, Mustard, Beige, Mid Brown, Haze Blue. These images are from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous – Cling Mounted Rubber Stamp Set – Wine Blueprint and Strip sets. Although these images have been around for a bit, they are absolute classics and make a great addition to your crafty stash.

We will add the sentiment using the Tim Holtz idea-ology Theories Quote Chips which will say “love with all your heart”. Just ink the edges a bit to finish off this quote chip.

Next, we can assemble the card panel onto a black card base, and we will also add a few sparkly hearts to each of the wine glasses using the Buttons Galore & More Red Hearts.

This card would be great for New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, Anniversary, Wedding, Congratulations, Birthday and so much more!!!
